Great America - Fright Fest (pt 2)

It was time to break for lunch. Some of us went to our cars for our subs and some grabbed Papa Johns pizza in the park. After having a great ride operator (Justin) on the orbit, we all met up at the Viper. I love how they put the Ragin Bull's track right over the Viper's waiting line, the 2 best rides in the park. Surprisingly, there were a lot of people in line for both the tea cups (excuse me, Susan, salsa bowls) and the Ragin Bull. Onward we continued on our search for a ride that would fit our time budget. The Demon was just that ride; such a classic ride. Dawn & Susan had a great time on this ride because Justin made a surprise visit just in time to send them off screaming. Right at the exit, Deja Vu was operating with a moderate length line. I was tempted, but it was time to get into Halloween. Off we went for the the Train ride. This year was not Scooby Do, hooray! We instead had a wimpy guy, Patrick, allow zombies to rob the train of its treasure chest. It's good that the authorities were nearby to take care of everything. Patrick wasn't much help, but he tried. Time was moving into the evening and Shannon & Brennan needed to drive home to DeKalb and Gretchen needed to get home to her family. It was now haunting time.  Posted by Picasa
