Over to Necropolis, the haunted remains of the picnic grove. In there was the Mausaleum of Terror. Susan volunteered to be first and I didn't mind bringing up the rear. The haunted house was good, but it could have been a bit scarier. They did have the very awesome, mind warping tunnel; the highly speckled rotating tunnel encapsulating a narrow walkway. It makes you feel like you can't stand up straight and are about to fall over. Upon exiting, we were greeted by the obligatory masked man with a chainsaw. Now we were pumped up and ready to challenge the haunted house in the southwest territory.

This one is all in 3D (with glasses), but has clowns, so I led the pack. This was really just a lot of eye candy and not much scare. Since that wasn't enough for our senses, we had to spin ourselves silly at the salsa bowls. The line was nice and short; well worth it. They spook this ride up by blacking it out, putting in strobes and loud music. I'm not sure if I've ever spun so fast. The walk over to the parade was enough for us to gain our senses back.

They opened the parade with a little musical number on the stage. Our attention was then caught by the fireworks over the fire station and out came the floats.

It was almost closing time, so Dawn and I ran over to Ragin Bull to get in one last ride for the night. I love that ride at night; it's so wide open. Everyone was very tired, so it was straight home after a quick food run at the Steak & Shake drive-thru. Thanks for a fun-filled day everyone!
