So Gen invited me to go with her and her friend Dawn to meet up with her coworkers at
Howl at the Moon. It's a bar downtown Chicago. Tonight they had their Piano Show. It's 2 people on pianos that play song requests from the crowd. Requests are handed on paper with tips to get them played sooner. It's fun to watch because they encourage people to get up in front and dance/singalong. What's great is that they'll do any song request. They did everything from 80's rock to sublime to country to sir mix-a-lot. This is much better than an 80's bar with just a DJ.
The drink of the night: bowls! They were $25 for a bowl of alcohol. I split 3 with Dawn (pictured); Gen had some too, but she was driving. We had a Hurricane, Blue Long Island, and then another Hurricane. Each bowl lasted at least an hour. We were doing just fine after all of those. That was a really fun night!
Oh, Dawn wanted me to let you all know she's hot and sexy and single!
